Das Künstlerkollektiv BEWEGUNG NURR wurde 1989 von Alekos Hofstetter, Christian Steuer und Daniel H. Wild in Dresden gegründet. 1996 schloss sich Lokiev Stoof der Gruppe an. Seitdem arbeitet sie in der Besetzung Hofstetter/Steuer/Stoof.

The artists' collective BEWEGUNG NURR was founded in 1989 in Dresden by Alekos Hofstetter, Christian Steuer and Daniel H. Wild. In 1996, Lokiev Stoof replaced Wild. Since then they work in the constellation Hofstetter/Steuer/Stoof.

The conceptual strategies of BEWEGUNG NURR and their nuanced explorations of themes such as the market economy and the media are of significant relevance for the contemporary discussion on aesthetics. In 2003, BEWEGUNG NURR founded the artists' initiative S-FOR http://www.s-for.de and startet to work together with other artists like Tina Born, Alen Hebilovic, Sven Kalden, Andreas Koch and Christine Weber.
